Steady and Solid gets trumped by Shallow, Stupid, and Stubborn

Now the arm chair quarterbacks, political pundits, and more than a few Tea Party zealots have begun to pick through the bones. Romney was just Obama in white face.

He wasn't far right enough. The proof is in his loss. Or so they say. I say the loss was inevitable because the standard by which we measure and admire a man has become two polar opposites. One the one hand is the weak spined metrosexual who believes we are a country that needs to pay for it's success. Offering alms for the sin of being a great nation. On the other hand is an uncompromising and angry rabble who stupidly believe that they can bend a majority to capitulate to their all or nothing mentality. Steady and solid have left the building. Stupid and stubborn have taken up residency. -- Midtown Miscreant

Your Say

I am not interested in winning or in being pure. I am only interested in preparing for the inevitably collapse of the Peoples Democrat Republic and in defining its replacement. I want to live in a country dedicated to a proposition, not on one governed by a motley group of persons defined by skin color or nasty habits.

The GOP machine approved of and foisted the Romney model in a likeness of self. A Conservative or TEA Party candidate winning would upset the cigar club. Kill the GOP machine and you save the country.

Mitt sent the Tea Party around to the locked back door. The smart operators didn't want that low class sweaty rabble messing things up. Who needs sweat when you've got education and brains?

Despite being governor of one of the most liberal states I was told he was a rock solid conservative.
I was told Mitt Romney was the only candidate that could beat Obama.

I am not sure how he lost other than he was a terrible choice for the GOP.

The republican team had a conservative message. It didn't resonate with the electorate.

Apparently, Americans prefer socialism.
