If you shoot an intruder, the phrase to tell the cops is "I feared for my life and wanted to neutralize the threat." Try and resist the urge to put in extra slug in the thug after he's on the floor, so shoot fast before he hits the ground.

I don't think that public unrest will be a color-specific phenomenon.

For some reason - reason not the right word - the folks on the Left have maintained that the operative emotion of all folks not of dusky hue is always fear of those that are 100% of every day all the time, except for when the driving emotion is hate.

It's never been true with me. Can't speak for the rest of the non-dusky (I'm swarthy myself, less so in winter) demographic. But if I did try to speak for the rest, I guess I'd be a racist. And probably guilty of bigotry by projecting low expectations.

Leelu: First, strip search, then restraints, then court ordered treatment, then medicine, but they shouldn't forget electro-shock, or lobotomy. I assume Maher will need a lobotomy before he can be made tractable and be allowed to spend time with the other patients.

It would seem that Maher already had his lobotomy some time ago. I have no problem with hooking him up to house current, though.

We know where the liberals live: look for the NIMBY sign amongst the rainbow/hope/peace/choice/warming/brake-for-whales posters and bumper stickers.

When things go real bad the matter will be resolved along simple black and white parameters:

Black good, White bad or White good, Black bad (depending on the eye of the beholder.) Any other ethnic or racial groups will become collateral damage.

There isn't anything going on Nov. 7. The chattering classes will chatter. The aggrieved populations will be charging supersize drinks and fritos at my 7-11 on the government card.

Obama jumped the gun. What proud people which are still left need more numbing. The final transformation needs to be done in a state of hopelessness, not rage. Romney is the ticket. Cream of the crap. He got my vote, Friday. Mine is a Democrat area, but these voters did not fit the profile, and there were a line of them. No Obama stickers in the parking lot.

But if it goes the other way, I'm convinced it will get us where we need to go more directly.
