whether they vote for Romney or for Mickey Mouse, they reduce Obama's vote. Now, here's a little bit of math for you: Obama got about 53 percent of the vote in 2008. Obama is only getting 84 percent of those votes this time. 84 percent of 53 percent is 45 percent. -- Charlie Martin @ PJM

In all American history, no incumbent president running for reelection has ever succeeded except by getting more votes the second time than he got in the first.
It's not mathematically impossible for Obama to be the first exception, of course. But does anyone - including Jarrett and Axelrod - truly expect Obama will get more votes this year than in 2008?

Not to mention the Republicans or fence-sitters who had no love for McCain/Palin and sat on their hands last time and learned their lesson.

..and considering that hte State of this nation is so seriously BAD, for anyone to vote for Obama and his crony's tells me that those same people would still vote for Obama even if the 5 largest cities in the US were a smoking self lighting parking lot.
In the future, it will be pointless to talk politics (You know, logic and reason?) to anyone who votes for Obama in the 2012 election. The jig is up.
Its that stark to me.
