Two kinds of shock

The left was shocked because they had really believed Obama's hype, and he fell so far below their expectations -- though perhaps it would be more accurate to say he failed so abysmally to live up to their beliefs.

The right was shocked because they really believed the negative media spin about Romney and he rose so far above their expectations -- though perhaps it would be more accurate to say he succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. -- neo-neocon

Your Say

As an Anbody-But-Romney voter I will confirm Romney performed beyond my wildest dreams. In fact, I turned off the live radio coverage of the debate by the end of Romney's opening answer/comment. It was such a carbon-copy of every opening statement, I anticipated another GOP "when did you stop beating your wife" debate performance.

Romney convinced me to vote for him. It's too close not to do everything feasible to defeat Obama. That doesn't mean we should once again convince ourselves he's our conservative hopes and dreams in a blue suit, he is not. As Mark Levin says we will have to drag Romney toward the conservative solutions every day. That's a better outcome than Obama.

Standby for the House GOP to re-elect Boehner, Cantor, and David Drier a few seconds after Nov 6. When it happens stop worrying if the GOP has learned their lesson and know they have not, just as they didn't learn it in 2010.

Work for a TEA Party takeover of the GOP. Accept no excuses or delays. If the GOP has changed they will show it every chance. Anything ambiguous from the GOP should be interpreted as sabotage and surrender of your liberty.

I made my points about Romney here before, and, thanks to our gracious host, had those comments reposted front and center.

I have seen previous Romney clips and ads, and could not, for the life of me, reconcile what I kept seeing with what our "betters" told us to believe.
