Palestinians ditched; Egypt next?

Buh-Bye, Bozos: "After years of intoning that the Palestine issue was the crux of the world's security problems,
the world has left the keys in the wreck and walked away from it. And the Oslo process is ending with a whimper rather than a bang. Egypt is a different matter. The notion that the world will find $1 billion a month for Egypt - let alone $2 billion - seems whimsical. The catastrophic decline of a nation of 80 million people is something the world has not seen in some time, and policymakers would be wise to take precautionary measures. -- Spengler

No. We would be in better shape if this dust into dust moment is left center stage. Let those that believe 'Allah' determines their every move implore him for help. And answer the why of being forsaken.

The Muslim Brotherhood is planning a mass starvation event for Egypt to consolidate power. All I can say is good luck with that plan. Anybody sending a dime to the dictatorships ought to be deported to them.

I suspect Egypt is going to play out no matter what intervention anyone tries. Too much momentum to change direction. Dust to dust, indeed.

Interesting how the commenters to that article are all blaming Spengler for Egypt's problems. Let's shoot the messenger!

Egypt, eh?

I don't think He's quite done with them yet. Don't be surprised to see some frogly precipitation, Type O Nile flooding, and a whole buncha first-born Achmed the Dead Terrorists.

Kinda funny how stuff happens, whenever Egypt raises it's hand against Israel. Somehow, never seems to quite work out for 'em.
