"Now consider Mitt Romney, the most famous chameleon of all time."

Romney knows that the electorate is full of idiots and he needs to be a gigantic liar to win their votes. I totally get that. The funniest part is his budget plan that he promises to describe in detail after he gets elected.
Dumb people see this as "He has an awesome fiscal plan!" Democrats see it as "He's a liar with no plan!" I see it as "You know I'm a brilliant and experienced turnaround guy. I know how to do this sort of thing. And if I give details now it just paints a target on my back. So chill." In any event, Congress will be the ones who decide on the next budget. It will probably look similar no matter who gets elected. I don't believe, for example, that a Romney budget would overfund the military. Congress would moderate that, and Romney probably doesn't mean it anyway. Remember, his job today is to lie to get elected. His job once elected is quite different. -- Scott Adams Blog: Interesting Day 10/20/2012

Your Say

Read Arthur Silber, most of you will hate it.

It's correct.

Everything you need to know about Romney:

"Scott Pelley: And that is time. Thank you, sir. Governor Romney. Governor Romney, recently President Obama ordered the death of an American citizen who was suspected of terrorist activity overseas. Is it appropriate for the American president on the president's say-so alone to order the death of an American citizen suspected of terrorism?

Mitt Romney: Absolutely."

Mubarak and Gaddafi weren't threats to us, and now, in their place we have the Muslim Brotherhood and AlQaeda. This is the only administration that has ever leaked sensitive security information about Israel, a country that is threatened with annihilation. Obama let four Americans die while Vienna gets a battery recharging station for their Chevy Volts. Sends guns to Mexican drug gangs and sues Arizona for enforcing the immigration laws and sues Florida for taking dead people and illegals off the voting rolls. The list is endless, epic fail describes the community organizer who wanted to transform America.
Sorry, but Communism doesn't work elsewhere and it's not working in America.

if Obama had a son he would look like this

So mjazzguitar
You seem to be concerend that
"This is the only administration that has ever leaked sensitive security information about Israel, a country that is threatened with annihilation."

If you are American, shouldn't you be much more concerned by the Pollards and the attack on the Liberty?

Romney supports the Ryan budget, which has been passed by the House, and which complies with the Budget Control Act. Why isn't that enough detail?

Or does Mr. Adams believe that the President controls every item in the Appropriations bills that are the second stage of the budget process.

If you really want change, change Congress.

Scott Adams feels safe blathering on like an iconoclast.

I know what Romney is, but I also know what Obama is, and the choice is easy: Romney by a mile.

Adams' description of Romney, which is exaggerated, fits Obama even better. Given the choice, I want a successful chameleon (Romney) over a calamitously failing/flailing one (do I need to name him?).

Two men are standing outside my house. The first man wants to steal my TV and my computer. The second wants to kill me, rape my wife, and burn down my house.

I am free to shoot either one, but I have only one bullet. I am going to shoot the second guy.

Yes, the lesser of two evils is still evil. I see no point in voting for Romney, but I do see a point to voting against Obama, which is what I'm doing.

ABO - you won't get a second chance. . .

Even better, the more I learn about Mr Romney, the more I think he will do just fine.

Obama voters proved willing to believe anything, even that their man was lying to get elected, just so they could believe Obama's unicorns would deliver whatever magic they could desire.

Maybe citizens should stop adopting the cynicism and triple-bank-shot analysis of political pundits and pick candidates like it makes a difference. We're not electing a best friend, rock star, action hero, Jeopardy contestant, or therapist. Our job is to elect a leader. If you reward politicians for lying you make things worse. Maybe they think voters are stupid because voters give them evidence?

Daniel I believe you have to purchase the VW and make use of it for gonna the parts store. Or any other good reason. Definitely Eastern cars are exciting and since I am in California the freight alone would be prohibitive. Or get it preset there and drive it across.....I do not feel so. Thanks for any check out of an unusual present.
