Your Say

Wait, the economy is getting better…

It explains the pick up in jobs last month. They needed more people to change the gas station price signs.

As the Texans said back during the 1970s oil embargo: Freeze a Yankee in the dark. Your nice liberal neighbors brought about this BS and the Mayberry voters made excuses to keep those people in polite society. they are going to bankrupt you and you won't say "boo" to them. That's not something to be proud of. They aren't learning lessons from your good behavior.

Gas could go to $10/gallon and CA would still vote overwhelmingly for those that keep bringing the government checks and food to their door. There are too many of them, tney and all their dead and non-citizen relatives vote, and they can't afford a car now. Once the rent and the food and the cell phone is paid for, does it really matter what anything else costs?

John, that is because it is chimpy McBushitler and his friends in *BIG* oil that raise gas prices. The democrats care about the little man.

Bread. Circuses.

And food riots.

A statistic I'd really like to see would be the percentage of monthly California Civil Service Pension checks...

... mailed to out of state addresses. I think it would be a teachable moment. I really do.

I am SO glad we left in '92.

Mexas? Some bumper stickers said "step on the gas, freeze a Yankee". In one of their cities it's against the law for a cop to ask the driver for a driver's license.
Bush raised gas prices? I wish he'd get us out of Iraq, everyone knows he's got us over there for the oil.

Obama is over there to keep the oil from getting here.

Look for a miraculous rescue from our kind betters in the democrat party right around Nov. 6.

mjazz. your post just made me think-

What if we had really waged a war for oil? I'm thinkin' some behind the scenes agreement with the Chi-coms, and Ruskies. Nuke Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and all their fellow travelers, neutron bomb the oil fields, send our guys in there, and just turn on the spigot. Think oil prices around $10.bbl. Thirty five cent gasoline. Lots of big V-8's on the highway again. No more electric prius smart carlets, and eco friendly gasohol made from corn and algae.

yeah. It'd suck. poor Gaia.

Nah- unthinkable

If I were to pick my article of the year, it would be yours. Is there an award for that? Anyway, I enjoy reading your kind of writing. You¡¯re interesting and intelligent. Thanks for sharing.
