Correct me if I'm wrong, but monkeys tend to swing a lot from tree to tree, and bounce and fling poo. It stands to reason that a low calorie diet might not be a good thing. On the other hand, I doubt they would have meatloaf and mashed potatoes and gravy, would they?

Find out what Davy Jones ate and compare it to what Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith ate. That will tell you if a high calorie diet effects the Monkeys.
