Come Again?

"One of our No. 1 priorities in this house is to protect the next generation of Californians," said Ricardo Lara, a Democrat from Los Angeles County.
"And some of those are sissy boys. And some of those sissy boys grow up to be Assembly members. And some of those sissy boys need help. And we are here to stand with those sissy boys." -- California lawmakers vote to ban gay conversion therapy for minors | Reuters

Your Say

I've had it. I'm voting for the giant meteor strike. Right now. I don't care if I'm living at ground zero. I've had all the fun I need to have. Take me out with the rest of this madhouse.

That makes two of us.

Posted by: vanderleun at September 1, 2012 10:15 AM

And two of me too!

Sissy boys do need to be protected. From old chicken hawks.

Aren't you glad the Lege has its priorities straight?

I am sorry, nuking DC from orbit is the correct choice for the poll above.

But this item argues for

"Giant asteroid strike eliminating all life on the North American continent."

Maybe we could compromise and nuke California from orbit.

Aw c'mon, just because the Cali legislature is full of perverts/democrats desperate to do anything to take the public's collective mind off of their ridiculous lack of substantive performance, it's no reason to panic. Hopefully one day soon, they'll all be swinging from the lamp posts of Sacramento.

A preference of the left hand over the right is not an illness.

Posted by: Alan Kellogg at September 1, 2012 9:29 PM

...depends on whose left and whose right.

"And some of those sissy boys grow up to be Assembly members."

Just some?

Posted by: CGHill at September 1, 2012 10:30 PM

Yeah, just some. The rest grow up to be girlymen.

Posted by: Peccable at September 2, 2012 7:22 AM

The fact the left hand is not your preference does not mean it is wrong for your neighbor.

It does if he thinks hands are for walking.

Posted by: Gagdad Bob at September 2, 2012 2:18 PM

No, Alan. It is a disgusting thing. And it is not nearly normal. Not even close.

Take Andrew Sullivan for an example -- out to the trash and throw him away, please.

Offer a deal to the legislature: a ban gay conversion therapy of minors in exchange for a ban of transgender transitioning for minors.

Posted by: John Farrier at September 2, 2012 4:36 PM

Can we all say it together...The low T assembly. Could damn near make a rhyme with that.
