Man, I ain't even read the link yet, and that pull-quote says just volumes.
I'm your age-plus-a-little, Gerard, and I've been clear about the paucity of serious women for a long, long, time. To my astonishment I've now been celibate for over 15 years, and in trying to explain that to people I can't come up with anything better than "I've had all the free pussy I want."
What the fuck ever happened to grown-up women?

Today's unmarried fems operate by the advice doctors give to old coots: Use it or lose it!
As for married women, the crotch goes dead at 47. Then these same individuals wonder why the 'Trophy Wife' enters the arena.
