Mr. Oculus - The point I was trying to make is the one rather better made by Martin Luther King; that a person's character is more important than his skin colour. Black people don't have to be violent retards with a penchant for selling drugs - although it is perhaps true that they are more likely to be so than whites are. There are white antisocial thugs and drug dealers, too. Ms. Rice is neither, and neither is Colin Powell.

As for the differences in biology - don't make me laugh. There is less than a 1% difference in genetics between a human and a chimpanzee, never mind between humans, and African blacks are more varied than the rest of the world put together. Even if blacks tend to be stupider, that doesn't mean an individual black who isn't stupid shouldn't be treated with respect.

And, Mr. Oculus - if you like Putin more than Rice because she has more melanin in her skin then yes, you are a bigot.

When Colin Powell endorsed Barrack Obama for president he demonstrated no loyalty to country or party. It appears that race was his top priority. That would make him the raciest.

I suspect he and Condoleezza Rice travel in the same circles, read the same books and pretty much hold similar views on race. Considering other parallels, I have little doubt she would not hesitate to follow his lead when race was the issue.

That's an interesting personal opinion. Thanks for sharing it. Now here's one of mine: the word "bigot" is a shield hidden behind by people who know the truth about race but don't have the courage to admit it in public.

I read Condi's memoir and found her to be very smart on many levels. She's essentially a neocon, but if you study the definition of " neocon", a large percentage of us fall into that category. If we have the wherewithall to help another individual, or even a country, why not? Bottom line . . . When it comes down to spending my hard earned tax dollars, I'd much prefer they be spent on helping AIDS patients in Africa than having them redisstributed by some Democrat who is trying to buy votes in Podunk Louisiana. The poor native inAfrica will never cast a vote in America. Meaning: we're not giving because we expect to receive, but because we truly want to help.

Well, Mr. Oculus, this is what you said. The clear implication is that you would trust Vlad because he happens to be white, i.e, "one of your kind". The flip side of that is that you would not trust Condi because she is not white. You following the logic here? Not to put too fine an edge on it, this is racism, pure and simple. There might be valid reasons to not trust Condi, but her skin color isn't one of them. And if there's a valid reason to trust Putin, I haven't found it yet, regardless of how white he might be.
