My take is part of why our military is demoralized is because they were not allowed to experience victory. Then, they return to a demoralized country, with few prospects for their future in a culture that does not truly value their sacrifice.

When we start hanging a few of their bosses I'm sure the suicides will stop. Start at the top.

Multiple tours in a place where only the top clowns want us because they get the money. Restrictive ROE.
Nation building in a place that barely has a culture.

Come back to no job and a minimalist future because of the hackery in the White House.

Eating a bullet tastes better than that.
