Walter Russell Mead seems to believe that Obama actually has an Afghan "strategery"

It's touching when scholars believe in the absence of evidence:
Obama’s Afghan Strategy Isn’t Working: Now What? @ Via Meadia "The President chose his war strategy in Afghanistan, overruling both his civilian and his military advisers as he saw fit (and as is entirely proper — that is his job)."

Your Say

So true. Everybody knows that Obama stupidly chose to call the Afghan Conflict the good war, so as to compare it to GWB's Iraqi quicksand. His only strategy was to contrast it to Iraq, which was in the shitter at the time.

I don't know how a parent can allow their child to join the military and be sent into a disaster such as Obama's Afghanistan. He doesn't give a shit about them or us.

It is a pity that Afghanistan doesn't have some great golf courses.
