There is absolutely no political profit in hitting Obama from the neo-conservative side on Syria.

The American people don't want another war and when Obama does something on Syria,
neocons will only look like idiots for complaining that he wasn't doing anything. There is no choice between a secular moderate national regime and a dictatorship. There is a choice between a dictatorship and Islamists. Choose one or the other, but don't pretend that there's a third option on the table. -- Sultan Knish a blog by Daniel Greenfield

Your Say

I think we should just stay back on this one. I'm fine with stomping bad guys, but only when there's a direct American interest involved, rather than "man that sucks for them." There isn't one for us in Syria.

I wouldn't be surprised if Obama pulled another bomb them from orbit campaign like against Libya on Syria, though.

Everything's coming up rosaries in the Arab Spring. Just ask the few remaining Christians living and dying there.

The only winning solution to the Syrian/Middle East wars is to shoot the last man standing.

The best people are the first to die in an uprising. That's why you have to help right away. The jihadis wiil prevail but Iran could have been cut off and Hezbollah weakened.

And what would be happening in Syria today if Irag had been vaporized in 1990 and Afghanistan in 2001?

When you won't destroy your enemies, you get more of them. Every wannabe wants to up his credibility by taunting the big dog. We have nukes, we have enemies. We don't need to have enemies if we have nukes. Hell, we don't even need to leave town to make our enemies disappear.
