Europe Court Says Ill Workers Can Retake Vacations
For most Europeans, almost nothing is more prized than their four to six weeks of guaranteed annual vacation leave. But it was not clear just how sacrosanct that time off was until Thursday, when Europe’s highest court ruled that workers who happened to get sick on vacation were legally entitled to take another vacation.

They're in a power dive, they can't pull out, and they just shoved the throttles forward.

So, how does this work exactly?

Do you call in to your office, during your vacation, and claim to be sick? Do you have to do this every day of your vacation? Can you just call once at the beginning of your six week vacation? Or, maybe you can call in on the last day and say you were sick for the previous six weeks, and request an additional six weeks. Or, maybe you can come back to work for one day, and then take six more weeks. Can your employer deny your "sick vacation" request/demand?

I think everyone in Europe just got an additional six weeks off.

It's like they're committing suicide.

Now, I have no objection to socialists killing themselves. I just wish they wouldn't try to take everyone else with them.
