In the Frozen Food Aisle

How hot is it? It’s so hot I had to kick people out of the frozen food aisle at Publix just so I could get to the ice cream.
After a respite at home I ventured out again to Publix, where it seemed everyone was having a casual summer gathering in the frozen food aisle. We lingered there, forming lasting bonds of the kind forged by those who survive the flames of hellfire disguised as a typical summer in Charleston. Pizza, ice cream, even frozen broccoli was subject to extra scrutiny and overlong was the seeming indecision, halting between choices, as patrons luxuriated in the amazing, frigid air pouring out into the aisle. -- | Primordial Slack
