What to do with six frozen cows stuck in cabin at 11,200 feet?

In late March snowshoers who had hoped to use the cabin at Colorado's Conundrum Hot Springs
found it already occupied -- by six dead cows, which had apparently gotten out of the cold but were too dumb to find the exit. The options now being weighed include: blowing up the carcasses; burning the cabin (and carcasses); or hauling the carcasses out with a helicopter or wheeled vehicle. --U.S. News -

I grew up in a farming community where on occasion a neighbor would need to get a dead animal out of an out building or barn.

I can honestly say that helicopters or high explosives were never considered as viable options.

Is there any intelligent live left anywhere in the Federal Government?

Had they but read Service. They'd know The Ballad of Blasphemous Bill MacKie, and they'd know they gotta saw.
