Anthony Hopkins As Alfred Hitchcock

A recently released promo picture of Hopkins in the title role of the upcoming Hitchcock biopic (2013).
The film, which chronicles the making of Psycho, also stars Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife Alma, and Scarlett Johansson as Psycho star Janet Leigh. - Broadsheet.ie

He couldn't possibly have put on the weight to appear like that. Magnificent dedication to his craft if he did, and shame on me for even using such a shopworn tribute to the rotten, decadent, modern neurosis of familiarity with the doings of film production, but that must be an appliance.

Dammit, I mean makeup.

Wow that's creepy good. And very very meta. In the old days they made movies. Now they make movies about how back in the day they made movies, and the creepy guys and gals that were involved. Run out of ideas, have we! As if this current ahistorical progressive-educated facebook/iTunes generation even knows or cares anything about ancient TwenCen creative wierdos. My guess is about 5% of the population even knows or cares about this stuff, and they'll be dead soon enough.
