2012 will be all about Obama but....
One thing I don't credit, however, is the oft-repeated idea that peoplelie on polls to say they approve of Obama more than they actually do, either because they don't want to be thought racist or for some other reason. I don't think that's much of a phenomenon at all, for the simple reason that I remember it was much-discussed in 2008, and many people said McCain would do better than the polls had shown as a result. But he did not. --neo-neocon 2012: referendum on Obama?
