"The government at all levels is all coercion, "

all the time, about everything,
and in their hearts most government functionaries of both parties have a profound contempt for their constituents, and get elected solely on assembling a coalition of voters with a profound contempt of just less than half their fellow citizens.... Everyone thinks they have the right to micromanage everyone else's life, right down to the lightbulbs and happy meals. -- Sippican Cottage: Is Frank Bunker Gilbreth Senior The Greatest Man Maine Ever Produced?

Your Say

Well, someone who knows Texas CPS law can ccerrot me if I'm wrong, but we only have 3 bedrooms for 9 people- 3 girls share one room, and it used to be 4 boys shared another. But we are now using an office as a bedroom, so the boys are split 2 and 2. Besides, under Texas law, you can't have more than 6 children with a regular foster license- to have more children than that, you have to have a group home license. So I'm looking at meeting the requirements for a group home license, not a foster license. Their ratio is 5 to 1, so I'd have to hire someone to be with me any time I had more than 5 children. Since God gave us 7 bio children, we just cannot consider foster/adopt for some years yet. We'll have to wait til the oldest few kids grow up and move out.
