The Blood Price of Afghanistan

The alleged attack on Afghans by an American soldier in Kandahar, where 91 soldiers have been murdered last year alone,
is already receiving the full outrage treatment. Any outrage over the deaths of those 91 soldiers in the province will be completely absent. There will be no mention of how many of them died because the Obama Administration decided that the lives of Afghan civilians counted for more than the lives of soldiers. No talk of what it is like to walk past houses with gunmen dressed in civilian clothing inside and if you are fired at from those houses, your orders are to retreat. -- Sultan Knish a blog by Daniel Greenfield

Your Say

Does anyone think the crazy fanatics that seek our destruction would be more mad if we had wisely melted the cities of Afghanistan on Sept 12, 2001?

We can end this war today. Our enemies know this and that we choose not to do it. Does anyone remember the parades the Euroweenies gave us for not melting Kabul? We have thousands and thousands of nuclear weapons sitting in storage. Does anyone doubt the Mooselimbs will detonate their atom/nuke bomb whether we nuke them or not? The nuclear conflict will happen. It's only a question of which city we sacrifice before we act like the outcome is a vital national interest to us.

The day after a Mooselimb bomb destroys a city is the wrong time to wake up. What will you demand on that day and why not do that action before we lose a city?

Scott: We should have nuked Mecca and Medina. It would have really given them something to chew on.

Besides, why waste bombs on Kabul, when the real enemy is in Islamabad?

Fat Man, we have enough nukes to go around. We haven't the testicular fortitude to use them. We've bought into this travesty called Just War Theory and we only wage war if we pretend we are fighting the government and helping the people. We can't read their minds, they let this happen, we punish whomever we can find.

I wouldn't support nuking Mecca, just yet. But I would support random destruction of Riyadh, Damascus, Cairo, Tehran, Islamabad, plus any population centers, economic targets, ports, etc. The Japanese could change, and did, once they were forced to reinterpret their ideas. Islam will not reform on their own. Their "holy sites" make good targets for second strike. I would deport Mooselimbs until they establish a reasonable and modern school of thought. We aren't worthy of their company, being non-compliant.

They choose to live in the desert and believe in their moon god, make all of them do so. Deprive them of anything more modern than camel spit until they reform. This half-war baloney only serves to make us vulnerable to their decisions. If they get hungry enough they will always sell their oil.
