Romney Derangement Syndrome

In truth, we are in the era of Romney Derangement Syndrome.
It has gone so far that in the PJ Media comments today, someone wrote there was no hope for the country because Obama and Romney were both Marxists. Really? The co-founder of Bain Capital is a Marxist? Well, I suppose if Bain were wildly unsuccessful you could hypothesize some kind of Cloward-Piven covert sabotage of our economic system was being attempted. But it wasn’t — and isn’t. -- Roger L. Your Say

I'm not deranged. I'm just unimpressed.

Sad truth is, Pajamas Media is controlled by RINO's and neocons. Excellent people like Richard Fernandez may manage to stay out of the way, where Gates of Vienna did not.

If there is a derangement syndrome, it is getting enthusiastic about a man like Romney after all this time. Ann Coulter caught it.

Sad truth is, most people have opinions but precious little information, and even less wisdom. For every ten people who opine on neocons there may be one who could define the term. To these people, RINO is a term that refers to any republican of a different flavor than themselves. While democrats who have no idea what Obama's positions are are legion, many conservatives have no idea what they are talking about as well.

President Romney. Not my favorite outcome, but he will do just fine, and all these republicans who call him names today will vote for him in November. And for any conservative who is of a mind to contest that, just you wait. When we look into the abyss of four more years of disaster, we will all go to the polls and vote.

Hey guys, I just got the word...John Galt isn't running this year. Bummer.

Do you want to light a single candle or continue to curse the darkness? Answer carefully, because this darkness is more than just an absence of light.

James. I cannot believe you are harking back to that Gates of Vienna business. What is that ? Six? Eight years old? Regroup.

And besides the bare truth is that the GOV couple can be irritating at times and nutty at all other times. That's just the fact.

Ah, there's no derangement about disliking Romney, if anyone at PJ media was honest they'd say "yeah he sucks and we don't like him either." In the end, if he's the nominee, he gets my vote but don't piss on my head and call it rainfall okay? He's crappy, but better than Obama. Marginally.

It is not difficult to define a neocon, Mr. Gersh. He is a person who was a flaming liberal or Marxist with the character that goes with it, but to his credit finally discovers that his ideology putrefies everything it touches. So he becomes newly--but more importantly--partially conservative. He wishes to change the result without changing himself. His game is still one of control though manipulation.

Irving Kristol described the type well, and he would know. "One can say that the historical task and political purpose of neo-conservatism would seem to be this: to convert the Republican party, and American conservatism in general, against their respective wills, into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to governing a modern democracy." That was precisely Saul Alinski's tactic for the Democrat Party.

Here's the big difference between Obama and Romney:

Under Romney the economy will likely surge. Under Obama it may tank again after a tepid "recovery."

For all practical purposes for this election cycle, THAT'S ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS

We can resume arguing how many angels dance on the tip of the conservative pin after Romeny's inauguration.
