Machiavelli Meets Churchill

In The Prince, Machiavelli wrote that
"€œA disorder should never be allowed to continue so as to avoid a war, because that is not to avoid it but to defer it to your disadvantage."  In his chapter about the infamous Munich agreement in The Gathering Storm, Churchill writes, "There is no merit in putting off a war for a year if, when it comes, it is a far worse war or one much harder to win."€ --Iran Again | Power Line

Your Say

When any politician promises anything but total war against an enemy he is condemning America to another Vietnam/Afghanistan draw-out and pointless defeat.

Remember kids, not even September 111 was big enough to break through the PC thinking of bureaucratic muddle-mindedness. We'll have to endure things much worse because we chose not to melt our enemies. Decline is a choice and we are choosing it daily.
