Don't worry about a visit by the Feds. It'll just be a couple of FBI guys knocking on the front door, they drive dark grey Ford Crown Vics, with dark tinted windows and a handful of short antennas on the car trunk. They'll ask a few questions and if you let them walk around the house they will notice you have no nukes in the house. Easy peasy.

The government said it expects to send warnings afterward by television, radio, email, text message and social media services like Twitter and Facebook.

That "the government" says it expects access to *anything* electronic after an EMP burst originating in its back yard tells me exactly how much credence I should give its BDA.
