Fluke only sees the tragedy of put-aside dreams, and stark-raving injustice of everyone not indemnifying her from the punishing consequences of her amusements. It's just a clump of cells, and just like the Ancients, she should have the right to put it out on a cliff for the vultures to peck at.

Is that a newborn? So it's one of those human-like creatures that has not yet attained "personhood" according to a couple of depraved, over-credentialed guineas from Australia or something.
