Sounds like a boring way to live. Glad I did my time in Connies, Convairs, and the good old DC-6. Our computers were E6B's, and when it got busy, we just put them in our pocket.

Not boring at all... It takes a different set of skills to operate these flying main-frames. Oh, I forgot... The airplanes fly themselves nowadays. What was I thinking?

I went back and read the article again, and noticed you do these on a regular basis. Good show.
