"If people in the millions are as committed to their sacred principles as they claim, why do almost all of them fail to act? "

"If one truly believes that abortion is “murder” and there is a literal “murder factory” down the road,
there is only one course of action an honest man could take. If one is adamant that an armed body is violently invading your homeland with government complicity, why is no one emulating Daniel Shays and his men? If a tyrannical judiciary is actively opposing the people by force or writ, why are the people not on the steps with tar and feathers? --United We Sit on the Couch

Your Say

Again, demanding people undertake the exact steps you require to prove their genuine zeal on a topic is at best disingenuous. The very thing that makes us upset and concerned about these things is what prompts us to work through the system.

Let's compare: if Jews are as bad as anti-Semites say, why aren't millions of anti-Semites attacking Jews? Why didn't the Germans, French, Czechs, Russians, Latvians, etc. who had murder factories and tyrannical judges (as well as every other government official) rise up? Clearly doing nothing is the norm in human affairs. That's why we admire the White Rose, anti-abortion activists, and Stauffenberg. Sitting on your ass: not just for video game players!

Okay, Mr. Guy Somerset, you first. You, as a lawyer, might not end up in prison, but a stupid housewife with a family to take care of, like myself, might. I'm getting really tired of guys with nothing to loose, bitching and moaning about the fact that basically law-abiding people don't rise up.

Whenever a young woman tells me she is pregnant, I respond with delight and happy congratulations. No matter what the circumstances. Every young mother deserves for people to be happy for her, and to know they have faith in her future, no matter what the current circumstances.

Whenever a woman tells me her daughter or granddaughter is pregnant, I respond with delight and happy congratulations. No matter what the current circumstances. This often reminds the woman that yes, there is joy to be found in this circumstance, and hope for the future.

I praise babies of all kinds, where-ever I see them, and praise their mamas too. Give them a smile, for in that smiling praise is eternal hope, and it can go a long way toward putting the abortionist out of business.
