"You know the problem with homosexuality?"

"It's underexposed. We need to talk about it some more. I need to be further familiarized with a subculture celebrated by about 40% of 1% of the population." -- Ace of Spades HQ

That's right, and toddlers need to know that Heather has two mommies, so that they know that is normative behavior.

He's right. I didn't even know what "gay" meant until I was three years old.

When I read the tagline I was thinking Gay was a name, not a persuasion. Wrong again.

They never seem gay. All the ones I've met were angry dissolutes, seeking new bath house trysts.

Hey MumGrum... when I was 3 yrs old, 'gay' meant happy.
The Ace is right. Instead of "We're queer and we're here!",
let's publicize what 'queer' means, how they go about it, and
why they want to teach it to our children.

btw, if they are actually only "40% of the 1%" then howcum so much media agony?
Let 'em go play in the bushes and stay the hell
off my street.

If you'll notice gay people will tell you they are gay often before they tell you their name.

Me: Does anyone have jumper cables?
Gay: As a gay man I will look in my car and see if I have them with me.

Boss: I need 2 drivers with available hours to work overtime.
Gay: As a gay man I can work an extra shift.

Office dweller: Hey, is the printer broken?
Gay: As a gay man it was working a few minutes ago.

On the other hand, I have a lot of gay friends that seem to spend way too much energy and worry "hiding" their lifestyle.

Where my boss can talk about the weekend with his wife, I see his peer looking frightfully silent, closed-in, so that she doesn't have to lie. She just sits silently, and soon no one asks her at all.

So she seeks only gay friends so she can be her "true" self... (Or seeks friends like me, who respect their lifestyle and try not to judge)
