Your Say

From her nouveau anorexic look, I'd say she's well on her way to killing herself.

"From her nouveau anorexic look, I'd say she's well on her way to killing herself."

I thought the same thing at first. Her midsection is blocked by flouncy "angel sleeves" the same color as the background giving her the illusion of a 10 inch waist.

The girl is still thin, but not as much as it seems at first glance.

...but only one would survive.

And, don't automatically assume that (grand)mom will be homicidal.

The most dangerous place in the world for a young liberal is inside their mother's womb.

Amazingly effective, which means the left will go berserk.

I posted it at tumblr, and got this response:

"yeah i was unborn once, and my mother was fortunate enough to be in a position where she could carry until i was a person and raise me. if she wasn't we would have both suffered or she could have legallly and safely aborted me and waited until she was ready to bring a new life into the world."

To live a world that has such safely aborted people in it!

It took me quite a while to get that.

The disapprobation, "You little scamp, You will be the death of me!"

The next thing said, "My darling girl, it's going to be such a beautiful baby!" "I love you."

Morale of the story, Wait For It.

I found this completely incomprehensible. For one thing, there are no thought balloons. Also, the second text block is centered on the young woman's stomach, rather than her uterus, so I discounted anything that might have a sexual or reproductive association. I mean, I actually did that while trying to figure out what on earth this set of words and images was attempting to convey.

Therefore, I was utterly unable to figure out what the meaning was whatsoever.

It should, in my opinion, be re-drawn with thought balloons, and with the second text block moved to the pelvic area.

That way, annoying literal-minded people can discuss it with intuitive types.

It took me about 5 seconds to get it. It was worth the wait.
