Because we don't hear enough about gays, "Cynthia Nixon

Cyn and her choice Chris in the old "I'll wear a tie so you're not in doubt" gambit

is in the news for saying she wasn't born a lesbian, she chose to be one. This is controversial since everybody knows that the behavior of all minority groups is controlled wholly by their genes, and nobody should be allowed to doubt genetic determinism, at least not in public." -- Steve Sailer's iSteve Blog: Was Nixon gay?

Your Say

Some people are genetically gay, some are situationally gay, some are willingly gay, and some are accidentally gay.

There. You have it.

I don't care why. I just wish they'd shut the fuck up, and go away.

I don't care what you are. Just keep it to yourself. What JWM said. OK?

She had no choice. Free will is genetic.

No, I want to keep on keepin on hearing about the (my guess is) one quarter of the 1.5%-3.5% of the total population, who are demanding not "tolerance" but total "acceptance" -- meaning a formal declaration from everybody, that homosexuality is not remotely "abnormal" but every bit as "normal" as heterosexuality. And to say otherwise is so politically incorrect you will be shunned from polite society, if not actually prosecuted for a hate crime.

Really. I mean after all...what could be more of a priority right now?

The economy is buzzing right along, with a balanced budget and a debt reduction plan in place, the housing market has rebounded, unemployment is plunging, there are no wars going on or external threats from terrorists facing us, we are well on our way toward energy independance, our K-12 educational system is the best in the world, our cities are low crime jewels, and our health care and how to pay for it is no longer an issue.

So let's chat about gay rights some more.
