Jobs! Jobs! Jobs?

Never an administration more craven and malicious: "Despite President Obama's pledge to retain more hi-tech jobs in the U.S., a federal agency run by a hand-picked Obama appointee has launched a $36 million program to train workers, including 3,000 specialists in IT and related functions, in South Asia." -- Informationweek

Your Say

Okay, a bit off topic, but comedy gold: NPR news analyst this morning explained that the Senate Democrats' payroll tax bill failed because "no Republicans" voted for it, while the Republicans' bill failed because "not all Republicans" voted for it. Gosh, I wonder, are there any Democrats voting in the Senate these days, what with them having a majority and all? Did any of those Democrats vote for the Republican bill?

Inquiring minds want to know, but apparently very few of those kind of minds listen to NPR!

Um ... am I the only one noticing that this item on job-training in Asia is fifteen months old (August 3, 2010)?

It's still illustrative of a duplicitous government, but I think we were appropriately outraged back then.

You're right. It is a bit dated.
