Finally, the morning light ahead of us. It is a beautiful pale blue... The pale blue light of Christmas Eve 2011.

He's headed eastbound to land this morning. Tonight, after the layover, he'll be westbound.

38 years of pushing throttles to earn my keep. Was home for Christmas on just a few of those years. It's a service job. They call, you haul. And holidays of all sorts are the busiest times. Of course Cap'n Dave knows how to express the satisfaction he feels in taking people home for Christmas.
