Notwithstanding her merits as an entertainer (which are dubious in my opinion), she has no special qualifications to opine on politics beyond being thrice divorced, a grandmother at 34 and a self-admitted long-term drug user. In other words, she's JAFA.

Ever get "forced" into watching The View? A bunch of screeching, uninformed women blasting away at everything in orbit. Woopi is the one voice of (relative) reason on that program. Bagging on the others for saying asinine things would be a daily blog of its own.
