"OWS should be a wake up call that this election will not be a cakewalk."

Obama's original victory was implausible, it took extensive work, planning and money. The idea that it can't happen again should be buried deep right now. It happened once. It can happen again if we let it. The other side is not going to play by any rules, it is not going to run a conventional campaign, it will pull every dirty trick it can think of and change the game as many times as it takes to win. --Sultan Knish a blog by Daniel Greenfield

Your Say

I think many of us (me included) refuse to believe the reality in front of our faces. I cannot even believe that I seriously write this. . . and yet, as the saying goes:

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Simply, I am scared for America's future. Every time I think Voldemort and his minions cannot be more evil, something new emerges.

If Fast and Furious, the use of taxpayer dollars to purchase and give weapons to Mexican guerrillas so that they can kill not just 200+ Mexicans but also Americans in an effort to subvert the Second Amendment (not to mention deny "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" to Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry ) does not worry the carp out of you, nothing will.

THEY ARE ALL TRAITORS TO THE REPUBLIC.

Take good care,
Sandy

The MSM and its allies are still very powerful. News of their imminent "death" are greatly exaggerated. Even the few prominent "conservative" newspapers are infested with AP dispatches. As a result, #OWS is reported very differently from what it is. Some clown named Jonathan Alter has also declared the Obama administration "scandal free."

The lines have been drawn. That's all we know for sure.

Conservatives are not fighters, they are cooperators. Since they aren't fighters they are always on the lookout for reasons why they won't have to fight. Whether it's Obama is down in the polls or some survey of 4 guys in a garage shows our candidate slightly ahead of Obama, or 53% of voters think X is the wrong plan, we are always looking for reasons not to fight, to conclude we've already won. Couple this with the desire to go back to real life, not stay in politics all of the time, and we vote and then turn over the country to the Leftists that have burrowed into the government at all levels. We aren't going to have a magic candidate that will win so big it changes liberal minds. Keeping a republic is a lifelong battle.

The left has a built-in advantage, because they believe in total government control of all aspects of human life. Working in politics 24/7/365 comes as naturally to them as breathing. The saying back in the 60s and 70s was "the personal is political", and they really believe that.

In contrast, most normal people do not believe that politics and government should be the center of everything.

I can't understand how the MSM still has so much power to control and shape the narrative. I thought that the TANG memo incident in 2004 was the beginning of the end of their influence. But they learned their lesson, and circled the wagons around Obama in 2008. They steadfastly refused to report anything negative about him, or even question his shady past and traitorous associations. Today we have underground organizations like Journolist, to tightly control and coordinate the message. Journolist and ACORN are still in existence under other names.

I keep praying that Americans haven't grown too lazy to maintain their individual liberty.
