I don't know if this is true now. May have been at one time, but social networking and the breakdown of marriage and moral standards has changed everything - for the worse? Perhaps. Not so sure - could level the playing field, make more women accessible to more men as women become more experimental and families become obsolete. Just something I am witnessing among my middle aged peers. This doesn't bode well for families regardless because as a society, we're learning to roll with it.
