“I was sold for 20,000 Yuan (£1,880),” said Aba.

I challenge anyone who wishes to attempt it to put forward an argument,
one that does not use any unspoken Christian assumptions about the innate and divine sanctity of the human life, but which instead is based on the secular humanist assumptions behind the philosophy of Communist China, to show any logical reason why women should not be enslaved to serve as brides to lonely Chinese men? Again, is there any logical reason why, once we accept the logical implication of the one-child policy, including the implication that you life as well as your sex life rightfully may be curtailed and controlled by the collective, we are not likewise forced to accept the institution of the state-arranged marriages, coercive marriages, the harem, the slavemarket? -- 20,000 Yuan for a Human Life | John C. Well, they are communists. the problem is that they are now less socialist than we are.

Are you talking about that China that sells its plasticized, skinned dead people to a ghoulish German (no irony there, no sir!) doctor so he can put them on display in malls for "educational purposes?" Would that be the same China that insists on rampant late term abortions to maintain its twisted one child policy? That China? Is it the China where a "performance" artist supposedly ate part of a dead baby for "art's sake?"

Yes, let us praise Tom Friedman's China, and the place that Bill Gates praised as having "invented a new form of capitalism" because he's too ignorant to know that it is simply 19th century American Robber Barons redux.

I think you have China pegged correctly.

Barack's devolution to 'capitalism' has the Kenyans denying his origin of birth. They're saying he was born in the USA.

You know.. I WANT to be shocked by this. But I'm not. Show me a non-Western society that doesn't treat women like shit, double negative intended, then I'll be shocked.
