And since all the California cities listed are basically Ag-Industrial and the State is getting ready to steal the water they use to grow stuff so folks in LA can keep paying cheap block rates for their water this situation is only going to get worse. Much worse.

My personal definition of hell -- being unemployed AND being in El Centro, CA at the same time.

BTW OhioDude, I think the town you are thinking of was Bell, CA. where the mayor and some city officials made exorbitant salaries compared to the local population.
