I, for one, want a lot less remembering and a lot more avenging. Our enemy is uniquely suited to be persuaded by massive and righteous destruction, and we fight them like we are trying to send a message. After Sept 11, the only message worth sending is "you and everyone you know, or will know, will be dead in a few minutes. Go hug a camel."
