"The Myth of the Anti-War Left"

Realizing that the so-called "anti-war left" is not so much "anti-war" as it is "pro-enemy" instantly solves every paradox of their behaviour." -- The Fourth Checkraise: Everyone's "hugging"

Your Say

Just another "well DUH" moment.

I mean really, did anyone with their heads NOT up their a$$es truly believe that the anti-war protests were NOT going to disappear into thin air the second a Republican was no longer president? When you see International ANSWER flags and giant puppet heads....um, hello, McFly? Anyone home?

That is like people like that idiot Peggy Noonan suddenly waking up and realizing what some of us knew -- oh, let's say LONG before the 2008 Dem convention. Which is that maybe, just maybe, Mr. Community Organizer is not the shining light of intellectual brilliance that millions of dupes swooned over. Ya THINK????

All of the views of liberals are like their anti-war views. Every position liberals take is for tactical advantage only. We conservatives are so literal-minded, and rule-following, that is doesn't take much for us to "discover" the new rule.

NOW marches in the street, we understand that to mean "treat women fairly." NOW is happy to promote or oppress women, whichever gives tactical advantage. I think Ms. Flowers and Lewinsky might agree. Liberals aren't opposed to racism. They are opposed to the particular behavior they call racism which always means you, white guy, give up. NAACP can support or oppose racism, whatever works at the moment. When you take a liberal accusation seriously, instead of reject it as a dishonest tactic, you are on the defensive and will lose.

Despite all of the hypocrisy finding in liberals that conservatives do, they still act as if there are principles by which the liberals will act. All liberal accusations are nothing but a game of Three Card Monty and we conservatives keep thinking we can win this time. The liberals are just happy for conservatives to get off message and begin and endless dialog about whether or not they are sexist, intolerant, xenophobic, homophobic, islamophobic, racist, or bigoted (SIXHIRB, "six herb" from Dennis Prager)

And too many stupid and naive conservatives continue to allow themselves to be sucked into allowing the left to control the narrative.

For example, in the past few weeks/months, I have seen conservatives actually and idiotically allow themselves to get sucked into a debate over the pros/cons, implications for electibility, etc., of such things like:

Bachman's Religion.
Romney's Religion.
and now...
Perry's G--dam GRADES, for petes sake.

There is going to be a full-court press like we have NEVER seen in our lifetimes to get that turkey re-elected. The enemy is not the democrat party. It is the leftist national media which is desparately attempting to maintain control over the "narrative" in order to keep the most left leaning politicians, from the WH on down, in office.

(And is really not doing too bad a job, I might add. For example, Katrina is still ID'd with Bush's fault in half of the country's minds. But BP oils spill mess is id'ed with BP, and not Pres Urkel. The gun-runner scandal would have brought down a GOP presidency. But 80% of the public has never even HEARD of it. Etc. ).

The party of Stupid, and stupid sheep in their ranks MUST turn the tables, and not play the game any more. They need to REFUSE to even DISCUSS any issues in ANY of the GOP candidates backgrounds that were "off limits" or "irrelevant" when it came to candidate Sunshine and Light.

"Not one single bit of investigative journalism was performed, in order to inform the public as to what Mr. Obama's grades were - or for that matter ANYTHING about his education -- so I am not discussing Rick Perry's grade point average."

"When you can show me ANY archived articles from the National media in 2008 that discuss what Black Liberation Theology is about; and how it was preached in a church that Mr. Obama in an interview from 2006 or 2007 stated he attended "every Sunday, 11 am service," then and only then will I talk about whether Michelle Bachman's church doesn't like Catholics, or whether Sarah Palin's church disses evolution."

SouthernJames you are exactly right about following THEIR narrative. Conservatives seem always to be looking for the slimmest of reed, which they claim is proof the tide is no going to go our way, and they always forget about the media advantage of the commie-lib arguments. "The Blue Dogs won't support x so we can relax. The Blue Dogs did support X and we lost.

The 908 stories about "Obamas slips to 40% in the polls". See, we almost have a majority convinced agaisnt Obama. NO, no matter what O does 40% will suport him. He only needs a 3rd party, to dispirit our side, or to convince those that want to be lied to like last time that he's learned his lesson.

The TV watching/passive conservatives don't recognize how they get played over and over. They are weak and worthless like RINO leaders. Americans will do anything to save America but turn off the TV or read a book.
