"The Atlantis returned to Earth ending the nation’s 30-year space shuttle program."

The sparrow has landed.

Your Say

As a former space shuttle worker I say 'Balls." Sending protoplasm in a can is not all there is to "space." We still regularly put satellite payloads into orbit. The US space effort has finally got out its infancy and now needs done by capitalists - like Scaled Composites and SpaceX. In case you don't know the facts, humans don't do too well in zero G over long periods. When we get past that, well then we'll go to Mars. Until then, let's put cost competitive payloads up where they make economic sense.

Yup. With the 800 pound Gorilla out of the room. But Kong sees you're doing something useful without him, his appetite will get back up.
