"Obama in a landslide"

All of the declared candidates contain major flaws which the MSM will mercilessly exploit, both overtly and covertly, blatantly and subliminally, and I find none of the candidates inspirational in the slightest.
And the poor selection is only one of our worries. The one, basic, inherent problem here is that conservatives are conservative. I know that sounds crazy, but it's true. And, as such, by definition alone they're not very activistic, tending to sit around on their duffs while the liberals make all the moves. It's no mystery why so many institutions and the major media realms, including the tech world, are dominated by liberals. It's because they try. -- Election 2012: A tough row to hoe - Maggie's Farm

Your Say

Yet again, the argument is built around "Look how silly all these candidates look when there hasn't been a convention yet and not a one among them has actually been chosen."

Once summer is over and the deed is done, and it's this-guy-or-that-guy, the dynamics change a lot. There's a whole lot of raspy sighing about "lesser or two evils," but once the voters figure out who that lesser-evil is, they're pretty adamant about it.

In very few cases is the lesser-of-evils, the incumbent President, when the economy is sucking. That would be unprecedented.

Who even knew about Obama at this point in the last election cycle? This article is just silly.

I'm actually liking Thaddeus McCotter quite a bit, although he does have an Achilles heel with the union stuff in his home state of MI.

There is one potential candidate, who hasn't announced yet, who I find extremely exciting indeed.

If (when) she gets into the race, it will not be a choice between the lesser of evils, but a literal choice between Good and Evil.

I've had a crush on McCotter for a while now but it's an extremely long shot for a Representative. Every candidate has an Achilles heel. Obama's entire platform is his Achilles heel, so anyone should be able to beat him. 2012 will be a referendum on the white guilt and/or the race card. He was elected in 2008 because of the color of his skin and if he is reelected it will be because of the color of his skin. It sure as hell won't be because of his policies and/or performance.

Liberals want to take over the world. Conservatives want to be left alone.

Support your candidate and stop preempting the process by trying to guess who will win and then convince your self that likely winner is your guy/gal. That's how we keep losing. Know your candidate isn't perfect and stop giving up on a candidate the moment you hear a negative. We're not electing a combination spouse/rock star/role model/priest/professor/parent/friend. We are electing a life-support system for a veto pen.

Obama in a landslide of snowball warming bullshit, the foreclosed houses of the unemployed true believers who voted for him and the gazillions of worthless dollars being counterfeited by the feds. That's the only landslide I see in Obama's future.

When one is picking and pecking at the variety of offerings before, during and yes even after the primaries, just remember, "When you pick up mud to throw, You lose ground."
GET BEHIND the Candidate and VOTE for HIM/HER!
