Illegal Immigrant Killer Goes Out on a Patriotic Note
The headgivers at the New York Times labored long to produce this line: Mexican Citizen Executed in Texas as Justices Refuse to Intervene - NYTimes.com, but the killer did not disappoint:
In his last moments, Mr. Leal repeatedly said he was sorry, and shouted twice, “Viva Mexico!”La Raza must be proud today. Meanwhile Obama mourned the loss of a potential supporter:
The White House had tried to stop his execution on the grounds that he, as a Mexican citizen (he was brought here illegally at age two and lived here ever since — i.e., a Dream Act candidate), should have been informed by police of his right to contact his country’s consulate, like a super-Miranda warning. -- Thus Always to Murderers - By Mark Krikorian - The Corner - National Review OnlineThe "Super-Miranda." A get-away-with-murder free card.

One can only hope that an attendee had the presence of mind to respond to "Viva Mexico" with "Adios, motherfucker."

I should be writing headlines for the NYT: Rep Gov Kills Obama Supporter.

Viva Mexico?
You want that to be your last words? Viva that stinking sh*thole of a country filled with abject poverty and drug violence?
The country that you haven't lived in since you were two?
Really?
A country so great that for decades your fellow mexicans have been leaving by the thousands to come live here illegally on the Democrat nipple - just like you and your family.
Well, OK. It's your execution . . .

"Immigrant", not "Immigrent". Or maybe I'm missing something here? Certainly wouldn't be the first time.
