Ilkka is Confused

I have to confess that I am now utterly confused if "hacking" private material to bring it to public light is a good thing or a bad thing.
I mean, the very people who have spent the past year celebrating and defending Wikileaks, hacking into Saranuel Palinstein's personal email account and later poring over her official email account in one huge panty-sniffing orgy of rage, and now even breaking and entering universities to steal their journal archives, and many other forms of "hacktivism", seem to have suddenly developed a hugeproblem with Rupert Murdoch, just like they had a big problem earlier with that climate scientist email hacking scandal. -- The Fourth Checkraise: A faintly red glow

Your Say

The answer can be found in Ann Coulter's "Demonics" in which she illustrates the leftist fascist mob's ability to believe two contradictory things at once and commit violence on behalf of each belief.

Thor, they also will not tolerate being questioned. Period. Every issue is a personal issue for them, therefore any subject you debate them on will result in the same indefinite chaotic spiral. And that, in truth, is their intent. Relating to liberals is a gotcha relationship. And the more "crimes" with which they are empowered to accuse you, the fewer liberty you have. Whether or not they are taught the technique or indoctrinated into the psychological dark side, I don't know. But I'm sure Ann Coulter has already addressed it.

Thanks for the reminder, btw.. Demonic is on my summer list.

fewer liberties, that is - although.. we are getting close the one single legal liberty which is obeying The State.

Don't forget, too, that one of the best selling novel series in recent years was all about journalists hacking into personal computers. "The Girl Who _________" series of novels revolved around Lisbeth Salander who did the hacking, and Michael Blomkqvist who did the journalism. In those books, the hacker was the hero because the villain was so clearly bad. But while everyone cheered on the hero no one stopped to think that the end cannot be allowed to justify the means lest you end up with what we have today in the UK.
