Althouse: "The Nig in the PJs Syndrome" Never Dies

Ann Althouse, who once saw the word "Nig" printed on a child's pajamas in a Hillary Clinton campaign ad, continues her unbroken streak of never, ever, admitting she was wrong about a key political issue.
"I voted for Obama, but I coolly observed all this emotionalism, soberly examined the 2 major party candidates, and made a rational choice." -- Althouse: "What did David Plouffe really say about unemployment?"

Your Say

Ah well, rational choices aren't all that. I recall Daniel Drezner making a check list to compare Bush and Kerry in 2004, and picking Kerry as the best choice. I don't know if it's the academic environment, or the academic tendency to use silly logic when insight is called for, but there it is. And of course there are all the illogical reasons fighting it out under the covers. Academics don't wrestle with the Devil often enough to get good at it.

You could try getting Althouse to admit she knows damn all about cats. :)

Gales of riotous laughter. Pity we can't restrict Obama governance to the people who voted for him, leaving the rest of us free to be ungoverned.
