"Just put a few stupid words in the mouth of Obama and everybody believes it - stupid people because they're gullible and smart people because they think they're smarter."

There's is no picture because he's not dead yet. They're twisting him on a spit and slow roasting him until he's so tender the secrets just drip of the bones. They've got him simmering in pentathol....

When I first heard the story break, I could have sworn it was a week delayed. But there was live tweeting going on by locals who heard the helo crash but didn't know what it was. They thought it was a drone attack. Anyway I was sure that there were networks to roll up in advance of the announcement. But it looks Obama had to speak fairly quickly about the 'kill' before the real-time world caught up with him. Still, our men in camo and blackface know how to get out of Dodge under the cover of darkness leaving no trail, so nobody knows exactly how they humped OBL out of the middle of Pakistan to 'the sea'. That's a dark trail - so dark that in fact OBL could be anywhere. He's certainly not free or missing, that's for sure. He's never going to see the light of day. But is he dead at this very moment? You will never know. -- Because He's Not Dead Yet - Cobb

Your Say

And this is how it ALL begins, never letting a good crises go to waste. Just like the dreaded birth cert., school & medical records, passport/SSN info. Bill Ayers relationship, it goes on and on…while other noteworthy news like high unemployment, the collapsing dollar, high gas/groceries, the dept/deficit…the fundamental transformation of America gets pushed to the back of the line.

Look at this hand, don't look in the other…oops, it’s too late.

There is one picture we'll ALL get to see soon, our new president.

That would be the funniest place in the universe: Obama's Sock Puppet Theater: Starring as Himself, Usama bin Laden, Obama's Bumboy.

Standards for this man have always been pathetic. He's never had to earn anything. He once made an inappropriate joke about the Special Olympics and yet he gets praise for just sitting in behind the desk in the Oval Office? Our least qualified elected official ever in the history of the U.S., the Ivy-League Affirmative Action poster child, a son of Black Liberation Theology and Islam, the teleprompter addict who hired Bill Ayers to ghostwrite his brilliant book has been deconstructed and will be unelected in 2012.

I wish that were true, that the intel guys forced his hand into doing what was smart, but I doubt it.

I heard Oliver North say that the mature approach would have been to just snatch him out of there alive and and say nothing whatsoever publicly. No denial, and certainly none of Obama's vulgar grandstanding. Like Batman. Just swoop down out of nowhere and disappear into the night. That type of thing freaks out a terror network. At least in the movies.

At the link, Cobb wrote: "… But there are better reasons not to assassinate."

Some reasons to consider:

"The argument for this is always circumstantial, that the ends justify the means. Very well then, let us say they do. Then we have surrendered our right to work ourselves up into moral outrage when an enemy, whether the Taliban, al-Qaeda, or Hamas, stages a successful terrorist attack against US military forces or civilians. 911 was just one of those things that happen when we agree that “war is hell,” and Osama bin Laden nothing more than an enemy willing to play by American rules.

None of us, including senior military officers, has any control over these events. We can, however, be free in our own minds to make correct moral judgments. The earliest version of the Golden Rule, one that is even simpler to understand than Jesus’ formulation, was negative: Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you. We can, at the very least, refuse to fall in with the mob mentality that demonizes an enemy in order to justify any atrocity.

Islam is evil when it not only condones but glorifies the slaughter of the innocent and the assassination of enemies. When self-described Christians adopt the same arguments and justifications, they are repudiating their faith and joining the party of Herod."

"Fog and Night" of the Nazis. The "Disappeared" of Argentina. That is quite disconcerting to those wandering around believing they're "in control" of the terror apparatus.

The clarity of condemning a method blinds one to the moral confusion of equating the combatants.

I agree with Gagdad. And Fleming's unrealistic logic is why.
