Butt I digress...

“MOTUS, how can Lady M participate in the Take Our Sons and Daughters To Work Day when she doesn’t even have a job?”

Well, you couldn’t be more wrong. Lady M has a full time job, just like royalty, and she’s on the job 24/7. She just doesn’t get paid. And believe me - there’s been some heated discussion around here about that little problem. -- Michelle Obama's Mirror: What to Wear When You Just Feel Like Looking Pretty

Your Say

Michelle asked one of her attendants, "does this make my ass look big?"

"No, madam. It actually makes the president look skinnier."

I'm thinking that, although not fat in the slightest, Michelle O has a figure fairly typical for a woman of black African descent. Something wrong with that? Or with Barack being slim? I wasn't aware that the President of the USA has weightlifting as part of his job description.

Relentlessly going on about what these two look like is playing into the hands of the left-wing moonbats. Criticise his policies, if any, sure.

The source of the humor is actually the media's absurd effort to make the Obamas what they are not -- a great beauty on the one hand, a great intellect on the other. If they demonstrated the slightest hint of self-awareness, they would have a healthy self-deprecation that would insulate them from the kind of fawning idealization that makes them so ripe for ridicule. But the problem with narcissists is that they actually believe the flattery is warranted.

Well said GB, as always. What they are best at is condescending arrogance; ah! The smug certainty of arrogance. They should be called on it every chance. The empress wears no clothes, really, and with apologies to Ser Winston, she is an insipidity wrapped in a banality couched in a vacuity just like her husband.
Speaking of royalty, the most salient feature of the royal wedding is Muchelle didn't get an invite. You know that's gotta hurt. And the pants? Better camo is needed.

All that arugula is sure making michelle look mighty thick!

Fletch: If I were pulling a caboose like that, I wouldn't be telling other folks what to eat or how to feed their children. If that is unkind, so be it. Don't expect the MSM to treat any conservative any better because we don't point out the hypocrisy of BO et ux.

No comment. Last time I made a comment on Ms. Obama, a poster got pissed and never returned. I'll be nice and not post anything.

Geez, Cilla, if you don't post that comment I'll leave and never return.

Cilla, you have to make the comment. Your comments are always funny and brilliant. I can't sleep, knowing that there was something left unsaid on this thread.

I heard her say to a group of Indian school girls that she got where she is today because of her education. I thought (and I had to wonder if the girls were thinking this as well) "got... WHERE... exactly?"

Fletch - lighten up - it's Michelle's self-promotion we mock, not her body type. And, please, don't get us started on Michelle's, er.. her husband's Marxist policies!
