Internet Shut-In Mickey Kaus Incredulous That Gas Prices Hurt President
When did everyone decide that it’s high gas prices that are hurting Obama? Seems crazy to me. He’s losing two out of three wars, the economy is flagging, and his signature domestic achievement is unpopular. So it must be the gas! -- Kausflies

I hope so, but it is not really clear from the item which goes on in more depth and without the laugh line.

Obama should douse himself with gas and light a smoke; that will prove it isn't the gas killing his popularity. Or maybe it will make his popularity soar!
