"You are one election away from becoming a hopeless serf, as are your children and their children."

The Origins of Postmodernitis Whatever "post modernism" is, it is a subset of a massive attack on post-1776 western civilization.
The American Revolution shattered the eternal construct of civilization that had been in place, unbroken, since mankind emerged from the ice ages, discovered agriculture, and settled into cities. That instigated the need for government, and government quickly and forever forced society into two dominant classes: the governing elite, and the rest, whose mission in life was to serve the governing elite. Since 1776, the goal of many in western civilization has been to restore the old order. Today, the bacteria that seek to force that will on humanity goes by the name "progressivism"€, but that name is simply the latest in a long series: royalism, oligarchism, marxism, communism, socialism, facism, liberalism, statism, and now progressivism. The names change but the disease does not. They want everything for themselves, and they want you to serve them, forever, with no chance to ever overturn their mastery again.

A lot of people can't understand why they would destroy the wealth of the world to do that, since well over 90% (probably closer to 99%) of the wealth (read: lifestyle improvements) has been developed since 1776. The answer is simple: when you control EVERYTHING, and 99% of humanity has NOTHING, your wealth is actually far greater than it is when the wealth is spread, as it is today. In other words, Commissars don't care whether the wealth of the world crashes, because the Commissars' wealth and power is going up, big-time.

Your Say

Gerard, I no longer believe any election is going to help us from our relentless quest into slavery and servitude. I base this upon the events that have taken place in Wisconsin, and the fact that, as you have repeatedly said, "Republicans. They thirst for death."

What will save us is being prepared to fight tooth and nail, spilling as much blood as probable. I don't see anything short of a bloody revolution.

We won't be firing the first shot, either. We all know who has already done that.

Jewel, I'm surprised. What took you to my long held position?

Libya and Wisconsin finally sealed the deal, Pec.

I think it is perfectly logical to hate, and I do mean litereally hate, progressivism, and I think it would be right and proper to teach children to both hate and fear it, and for adults to equate progressivism to a cult or creepoid "religion" like Scientology.

It is the true "Great Satan" of our secular West, and if people could learn to react reflexively in revulsion to progesives and their ism, we'd be better off for it.

But how many of you will still fight? Does anyone have a clue?

We shall see, won't we Madame Monsieur Imous.

All I can tell you is this:

We've been slaves for quite some years.
No election is going to save us.
Want my stuff?
"Come get some..."

Enough, is the magical number, enough is all you need.

The image I get is from "Lawrence of Arabia" when they attacked the retreating Turks. "No Prisoners!
Progs sowed the wind, it is time for them to reap the whirlwind.

Liberals want to take over everything, conservatives want to be left alone. That is the recipe for how we gave away our country. Conservatives would rather change schools, change neighborhoods, change careers than be around liberals. Every time some conservative whispers to someone that he is a teacher or union member so don't think all teachers, union members, or whatever are all bad you should know that the GOP is not much weaker than many of its voters.

The Left took over by recognizing their oppponent (us). The Left saw that we don't want a confrontation and we want people to admire our rule-following habits. All they have to do to take over your schoolss, neighborhoods, or career is move in and be rude and persistent. We will leave and they will win.

Never miss an opportunity, no matter how badly outnumbered you are or how uncomfortable you will make people, to loudly and rudely, and comprehensively defeat a liberals wise-ass comment. You have to make every commie-lib sorry for every commie-lib comment they make, wherever they make it. But conservatives would rather prove to other conservatives how logical and beneficial our ideology is rather than create a situation or be seen as anything less than Mayberry nice.

Liberals are playing by prison rules and conservatives are playing by Mayberry rules. They never have to worry about getting a shank in the kidney, we expect they will change their mind if we tell them facts. Know your opponent and show no mercy, we are the majority.

Scott, I put it similarly to Hugh Hewitt in a discussion on judicial nominations: The Dems play by Chicago Rules; the GOP by Marquess of Queensbury Rules. The Democrats come ready for a knife fight; the Republican leadership prefers nothing more serious than a pillow fight.
