Illegal immigration: Take down the bird-feeder

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it was, I reflected as I filled it lovingly with seed. First came the chickadees and then within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.

But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop.... [Read the rest @ -- - Maggie's Farm

Your Say

Oh my, do I dare? Better not. No matter how I will write it, it just will not be politically correct.

I've brought this up before, but can someone tell me how to permanently fix my American Digest link so that I can read these posts that I love? About half of them come across with some weird kind of lettering/font that renders the post unintelligible. I Love My AD and want to See!

Somebody help me out with the symbolism here. My bird feeder wasn't up six hours when the neighborhood black bear ambled up onto the deck, grabbed feeder and contents, and had a leisurely and presumably satisfactory meal at the far corner of my lot, never to be seen again.

We noticed two or three dead finches and that did it for me. What's worse than the mess and constant squirrel-proofing was thinking our feed was contaminated & killing the very birds we were attracting. We had one of those monster 4-sock feeders with the "greenhouse" dome on top. Fungus heaven in the humid months.

Not that a few headless bodies found along the human-trafficking trails should deter our government from attacking AZ's new law, which is basically the same federal law that isn't being enforced. The state law which is called racist, unconstitutional, for which the Obama admin is suing the state of AZ AND for which the UN is investigating the state on human rights abuse. States who TRY to do something, like taking the bird feeder away, will be given the AZ treatment. At least until we get rid of the Democrats and RINOs and replace them with representatives who have the political will and backbone that Jan Brewer has. As long as the Leftists and Islamists and Unions can keep our state and local governments tied up with legal expenses, THEY WILL KEEP WINNING. And don't bother referring it to our Dept of Justice. Don't even bother.
