If Monroe is ethereal, then Loren is earthy.. each in a league of their own. Perhaps we're just saturated now.. desensitized. Or women's lib put a negative light on glamor. Who knows. I just know all my generation got was Madonna. Kim Basinger might be the closest thing we had to ethereal and she was always feminine, so we had that at least.
